Global Starlink outage of about 2.5 hours blamed on core-network software failure

Starlink went down worldwide on 24 July 2025 for roughly two and a half hours; SpaceX attributed it to a failure of internal software services running the core network. Downdetector reports peaked above 58,000, and disruption to Ukrainian military communications was reported.
