Nigerian regulator opens pre-enforcement action over Starlink's unapproved 97% price rise

Starlink raised its standard residential plan in Nigeria from NGN 38,000 to NGN 75,000 a month from October 2024. The Nigerian Communications Commission said the increase had not been approved and breached Sections 108 and 111 of the Nigerian Communications Act 2003, and it began pre-enforcement action.
